Communication is everywhere, and so is type. I am not only interested in graphic design, with all its applications (such as illustration, logo and icon develop-
ments), but especially in typography and type design. I see type as the vehicle of human writing, and therein the expression of a cultural process. For this reason I am attending the MA TD course at Reading University, wanting to contribute to an intercultural communication and transnational understanding.
